What you have here is an old guy. In education for 30 years, started teaching elementary, ended as library and media director of community college. I've enjoyed mountain climbing, sports car rallying, was pipe major of a bagpipe band, played guitar and sang during the folk revival, walking and hiking later in life. Now fairly sedentary. Enjoy reading, esp. mysteries and fantasy, but my reading is pretty eclectic. Enjoy movies, giving Netflix a workout.

Merry Christmas, etc.

Just a short note on Christmas day to wish everyone a Merry Christmas or a Happy Hannukuh or just general good wishes. I hope your holiday was as nice as ours. I'm off to our cabin for several days of general laziness and overeating with so old cohorts of mine. Will return of New Years Eve. So I will wish you the best of New Years now. I promise this blog will be written more often this coming year.

Happy New Year from Anchorage, where many ravens dwell, especially at this time of year. Some are quite talkative, though I know of none who ever wrote a letter of comment, much less on a four page zine.

I know this is completely out of left field-- I am doing research on my family tree and have started to work on the unknown part (my biological father's side). Whilst surfing the internet I happened to find this blog and noted that your wife is named Anna Jo-along with Francis Denton, the two names listed on my birth certificate as my god parents. I am making a big leap and hoping that you are Ken Denton's brother- if so, I am his son Gary and would very much like to communicate with you. My email address is gdenton2@comcast.net-If none of this is true, I apologize for intruding on your interesting blog. Surely this is probably the weirdest comment you will ever get here but I figured the most direct approach is the most efficient. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer. Gary Denton
